Summer... the splash of fun begins!

I love the summer months, with the hot weather we can enjoy lots more activities, foods, and the best part... staying up late while the sun is still up when its 21:26 at night. AWESOME. Summer in my opinion is the most colourful, liveliest, and exciting seasons of all with bugs all over the place, people wearing short shorts, eating ice cream for breakfast, and just having the permission to be lazy and relax. I am a summer baby... I was born in August and so to me the Summer like "my season" I feel like I am more involved and I actually have something to look forward to!

Somethings I really like to do during the summer months is waking up early and heading to the pool and excercising, second of all evening walks after dinner (yah, even when mosquitoes feed off of you like you're a piece of juicy steak), and thirdly, the numerous possible things you can do with your wardrobe from mix and match to patterns, to the basic plain t-shirt and jeans with a pair of ankle high sandals. =^___________^=

While the warm weather is still around, head out and have your splash of fun before it's too late!!!!

P.S. Please pray and support Albertans affected by the Flood 2013 that occurred in June! Help and support is much appreciated for numerous families who have lost their homes due to the severe damages of the flood.

Back from HK and Japan!

Finally back from a fun filled trip full of adventures and fun! At the end of April I jetted off to Hong Kong to visit my Aunts I haven't seen for 12 years and got to squeeze a tour to Tokyo for 5 days during my 3 weeks stay in HK. This year was really a year I solely traveled alone with my childhood friend (of 18 years)...no parents! Let's just say without your parents behind taking care of things, you become a lot more cautious and careful. But then I must emphasis how much fun I had...no curfews and no pre-made plans, just me and a friend and we would go wherever we wanted!

Just wanted to say thank you to that very special friend of mine for a fun trip! It was really a great trip and I look forward to more adventures with you in the future!

I will hopefully pull some time out of my work schedule and update the travel log page with some funny things that happened during my 5 day stay in Japan!

6 More Days Till the Fun Begins!

Stress. Exams. Anticipation. Hope. Excitement. Nervous. All of these words summarize what I am totally feeling right now. Just six more days till I get to go see my Family in Hong Kong and enjoy traveling all over again! For some of you who have visited my blog before or know me personally will probably know that one of my favorite things to do is to travel. This year, I will be able to travel back to Hong Kong, and possibly Japan or Taiwan (during the trip) and enjoy my summer which will be in less than 6 days! One of the unfortunate things are that the original plan of heading to Korea are being put on hold once again due to some insecurities occurring over in that area. However, I guess, that will just give me more hope that in the near future I will be able to go!

Some recent adventures... well, first of all FINALS have started. Oh yes, the joy of stress all over again, and the lack of motivation to study! But well at least I know one of my most important subjects have been done and over with and I only have one exam left to prepare for....trying to ignore the fact that  I will heading onto a plane pretty soon with my awesome childhood friend/sister.

I am extremely excited, stoked, and at the same time a little stressed out that I still have exams and am totally not fully packed for the trip yet. But well I have to admit, I do like the anticipating sensation that is running through me these days, it keeps me motivated.
