My study/blogging space. |
Coming from a smaller University, going into a larger one kind of gave me a tiny bit of 'cultural shock'. I went from the quite, and fewer students, quiet halls, small sized classes to a school packed with students, noise, celebration, to large lecture halls and high tech buildings. First thing on my mind: WOW! My first day was adventurous, really, from going to school super early hoping to get a study spot in the library, to getting help from a very kind gentlemen (who works at the University) finding my lecture hall etc. The best part? I met with a lot of my old friends whom I met from High School. I don't have much to wish for but only one thing. TO DO SUPER WELL this year. I hope to brush away the stress and pains I experienced two years ago and start a new. To all visitors who are students like me... work hard, stay on task, and well don't forget to squeeze a bit of fun into your life! Let's all work hard towards our goals! As I learned in Japanese last year: 頑張ってください!
P.S. Today, I recieved a cute little gift from my student I have taught for 5 years of piano! A little red chameleon! AWWWW! For my first day of school too!!!
Best wishes!
