I want to personally wish all Little Stars' Diary visitors and supports a happy and prosperous Chinese New year! It is the year of the dragon this year, did you celebrate Chinese New Year? I know many of you may not exactly be Chinese or of other Asian cultures but did your community have any Chinese New Year celebrations? My city did and well it was a lot of fun! I am going to upload some pretty pictures of some ice sculptures that were carved and put on display at the Chinese cultural center in Chinatown. I love when Chinese New Year comes around, it is just like celebrating "Christmas" all over again. You put up red and gold decorations and prepare the tastiest (though not healthiest) foods, and best of all RED POCKET MONEY!!! Though I had to celebrate Chinese New Year at school this year, I was really glad that the beginning of Chinese New Year landed on a weekend this year, so I still got two days off to celebrate with my family and friends!
