First of all I would like to wish all of my visitors who happened to stumble upon my blog while browsing, as well as my friends whom read my blog from time to time a Happy Easter! I know you may not all be religious or whatsoever, but I do hope that the lively spirit of spring and the beautiful new view and life will brighten up your days!

Easter is the most important season within the church, last night, I attended my parish's Easter Vigil Mass and Fr. Bill, one of the priests at our church delivered his English homily which I thought I would share with you for a bit. If you are aware or maybe learned a few things or two about the Catholic religion, you may know about Baptism and the significance of water in this sacrament. Fr. Bill's homily talked about how water is very essential in each and everyone's life. This is a close summary of what he had said....

Fr. Bill:

"Water is very important, it gives life, provides for life, and can even destroy life. But let us focus on how water gives life to the earth. Think about the rain and snow, it falls to the ground allowing planted seeds to bloom and grow into food--providing all beings food and shelter. The oceans and the rivers are habitats of numerous sea life and provide drinking water for humans. See? Water is important."

"Water is also destructive, it can destroy homes--a bursting pipe or even floods can swipe or damage shelter, but you see, nothing exists without the presence of water, our bodies contain water."

He later on goes on speaking about the significance of water in Baptism, which I will not go further into.
I really liked this part of his homily, it is very philosophical, and it makes total sense! I thought I would just share a tiny bit with you all. :)

Once again, have a wonderful and fun Easter!
